Base Salary
$175k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build systems supporting multiple payment service providers and related payment opportunities.
- Own and drive significant projects involving custom payments workflows and integrations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver a smooth billing and payment experience across the revenue lifecycle.
- Use AI for product automation, business-process improvement, and daily engineering workflows.
- Mentor engineers, raise the technical bar, and help shape the engineering culture.
- Work hands-on in modern languages and frameworks while contributing to complex system design.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Professional experience shipping high-impact products with a specialization in payments systems and at least a couple of payment processors.
- Experience leading large, complex system design, ideally in a fast-moving and growing environment.
- Hands-on experience with modern languages and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems.
- Interest in and practical engagement with AI and emerging advancements.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, early-stage problem spaces and mentor other engineers.
