Base Salary
$130k - $173k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical consultation and leadership during software design, development, and verification.
- Design, create, fix, and review software written in C# and Python.
- Lead root-cause corrective-action teams and sign off on completions.
- Identify, quantify, and mitigate technical and business risks.
- Collaborate with design, quality, customer, engineering, partner, and vendor teams to resolve complex issues and ensure interoperability and reuse.
- Mentor and guide the technical community and disseminate lessons learned across engineering organizations.
- Drive technical quality, engineering rigor, maintainability, and innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience.
- U.S. citizenship status is required.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Experience programming in C#, C++, Java, and/or Python.
- Preferred qualifications include significant aviation-industry experience, an advanced engineering-related degree, and direct or indirect leadership of global teams.
- Ability to solve complex technical challenges, influence stakeholders, manage conflicting priorities, take ownership, and work efficiently without direct supervision.
