Base Salary
$114k - $174k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of software applications for material handling systems.
- Architect scalable, high-performance software solutions integrating WCS, WIS, and WMS platforms.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders on technical requirements and software roadmaps.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to mid-level and junior engineers.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and maintain software quality.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance applications for reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Create and maintain architecture diagrams, user guides, and technical specifications.
- Lead technical projects from conception through deployment and drive innovation in automation software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong expertise in C, C++, and JavaScript in Linux and RHEL server environments.
- Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and software development best practices.
- Experience with Git and database design and management using Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.
- Preferred experience in industrial automation, supply chain, or material handling.
- Preferred hands-on experience with WMS, WIS, or WCS software and real-time system integration.
- Preferred frontend development experience with Qt or Angular.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices in software development.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
