Base Salary
$120k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of software applications for material handling and warehouse automation systems.
- Architect scalable, high-performance solutions integrating with WCS, WIS, and WMS platforms.
- Define technical requirements and software roadmaps with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to mid-level and junior engineers.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and maintain software quality.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance applications for reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Create and maintain architecture diagrams, user guides, and technical specifications.
- Lead technical projects from conception through deployment and support innovation in automation software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong expertise in C, C++, and JavaScript within Linux and RHEL server environments.
- Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and software development best practices.
- Experience with Git, database design and management, and Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include industrial automation, supply chain, material handling, WMS/WIS/WCS, real-time system integration, Qt or Angular frontend development, cybersecurity best practices, and technical project leadership.
