Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications in IBM i (AS/400) environments using RPG IV (RPGLE) and CL.
- Participate in legacy-system evolution, modernization, and technological transformation projects.
- Analyze and resolve incidents affecting critical business applications.
- Design and implement new functionality.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure solution quality.
- Participate in continuous-improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience developing with RPG IV (RPGLE) on IBM i.
- Experience with CL and DB2 for i using SQL.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Teamwork and effective communication skills.
- Knowledge of free-format RPG and SQLRPGLE is valued.
- Experience with legacy-system modernization or migration projects is valued.
- Experience integrating APIs or web services from IBM i is valued.
- Retail, distribution, or food-sector experience is valued.
- Education in computer science, telecommunications, or a related discipline is valued.
