
Lead Software Engineer

- Lead complex technology initiatives and influence companywide engineering standards and best practices.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, and review complex large-scale technology solutions.
- Lead the design and development of Java-based full-stack applications using Spring Boot and React or Angular.
- Define system architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs and integrate SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Mentor and guide engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and technical direction.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with product, UX, and QA teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, production support, observability, and SRE practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Experience with Java development, including full-stack and microservices architectures.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Hands-on experience with React or Angular.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Hands-on knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ and asynchronous processing.
- Understanding of CI/CD, Git, and infrastructure as code using Terraform or Ansible.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
