Responsibilities

Design, implement, and operate data and cloud infrastructure for a central AI anomaly detection engine.
Build and scale data pipelines for high-volume IoT time-series data, including energy metrics, power consumption data, and infrastructure monitoring logs.
Select and deploy lean, scalable cloud technologies for stable system performance.
Collaborate with data scientists to move anomaly detection models into cloud production.
Form, lead, and develop a new Core Engineering Team in Bucharest.
Define the technical vision, establish local ownership, and mentor future mid- and junior-level engineers.

At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Data Engineering or CloudOps with clear architectural responsibility.
Extensive practical experience with object-oriented programming in Python for maintainable backend applications.
Strong experience designing data architectures for large-scale time-series data such as smart meter and power consumption data.
Solid knowledge of cloud services and containerization tools, including Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders.
Initial experience or a strong motivation to lead and build a local technical team.
