Base Salary
$85k - $118k/yr
Responsibilities
- Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.
- Use scripting tools and code analysis to identify and define necessary system enhancements.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups; recommend programming solutions; and install and support customer-facing systems.
- Design application specifications using programming languages and analyze applications for vulnerabilities and security issues.
- Conduct application testing and debugging, identify problems, and implement solutions.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts and act as a subject matter expert for stakeholders and team members.
- Assess risk, follow applicable laws and policies, and escalate, manage, and report control issues transparently.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant Python experience in the financial services industry.
- Intermediate-level experience in an Applications Development role.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
Benefits
- Full-time position based in Irving, Texas.
- Salary range of $84,580.00 to $118,020.00 per year.
