Base Salary
$106k - $177k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, implement, and manage Warehouse Management System solutions for distribution centers.
- Develop and maintain software source code, scripts, APIs, service integrations, and event-driven solutions.
- Analyze requirements, automate tests, and verify that solutions meet business and technical requirements.
- Monitor application performance, conduct root cause analysis, and remediate application and interoperability issues.
- Integrate modern applications with enterprise and IBM i legacy platforms while supporting reliability and interoperability.
- Apply automation, CI/CD, version control, testing, release management, and application monitoring practices.
- Own development activities from technical planning through deployment and participate in design and code reviews.
- Collaborate with vendors, internal partners, and technical teams; provide guidance and mentorship as appropriate.
- Contribute to technical roadmaps, development standards, documentation, and operational support materials.
Requirements
- Hands-on software development experience with one or more of Java, Python, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, or PHP.
- Experience designing, developing, or consuming REST APIs and implementing service-to-service integrations.
- Experience with SQL, relational databases, software integration patterns, and modular or microservices-based architecture principles.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices, Agile delivery, DevOps practices, and collaborative version-control workflows.
- Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, build and deployment automation, release management, and application monitoring.
- Strong analytical, debugging, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness and aptitude to learn RPGLE, CLLE, and IBM i (AS400) concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically 4+ years of relevant professional software development experience, including exposure to enterprise-scale systems.
- Preferred experience includes IBM i, RPGLE, CLLE, ILE, legacy modernization, Kafka, MongoDB, microservices, distributed or cloud-native applications, and enterprise or legacy platform integration.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management and Order-to-Cash processes or experience in distribution, logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, or healthcare distribution is preferred.
