Responsibilities
- Participate in software development processes with autonomy and collaboration through pairing with other software team members.
- Lead software design creation in specific technical areas and provide guidance on development best practices.
- Develop moderately complex software solutions in collaboration with senior team members.
- Create and execute unit, integration, and system test plans.
- Conduct code reviews to identify bugs, enforce coding standards, and promote software quality.
- Support DevOps deployment activities and define, monitor, and meet performance and quality metrics.
- Diagnose and resolve software defects by analyzing logs, reproducing issues, and implementing fixes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, API specifications, and user guides.
- Apply analytical judgment to resolve medium-complexity software requests.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and software development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, electronics, information technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- 4–8 years of experience with vocational education in software development, software design and architecture, testing and quality assurance, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of technical documentation, software test automation, software development lifecycle practices, software design, code reviews, debugging, API design and integration, and test-driven development.
- Familiarity with version control systems, quality specifications, programming languages, business acumen, and continuous improvement.
