Base Salary

$170k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

Design, build, and ship AI-powered automation tools and internal applications that convert manual business processes into AI-first workflows.
Architect and maintain LLM systems involving prompt pipelines, agentic workflows, tool-calling integrations, and retrieval-augmented generation.
Build and maintain data pipelines connecting Snowflake, internal APIs, and SaaS tools to AI workflows while ensuring data quality and reliability.
Translate business-process requirements into engineering specifications with Process Analysts and iterate based on user feedback.
Own production reliability through monitoring, alerting, AI-output evaluation, and ongoing quality improvements.
Evaluate emerging AI models, frameworks, and APIs and contribute to standards for prompt management, evaluation, model selection, and system architecture.

6+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years designing, building, and deploying LLM-based or AI-powered applications in production.
Strong Python skills and experience building APIs, data pipelines, and backend services.
Practical experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic, prompt engineering, function calling, multi-step reasoning, and tool use.
Familiarity with SQL, data transformation, cloud data warehouses, and Snowflake.
Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect and cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, collaborate with Process Analysts, and ship iteratively.
Preferred experience includes vector databases, embeddings, or semantic search.

Office-first model requiring at least four days per week on-site.
