Base Salary
$184k - $357k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and support staging and production environments for multiple internal services.
- Coordinate with global teams to promote and improve CI/CD practices.
- Build services using on-premises Kubernetes and commercial cloud services.
- Lead DevOps efforts to increase availability, improve quality, and reduce delivery time.
- Improve automation infrastructure and collaborate with software developers and performance analysts.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience.
- Excellent programming and debugging skills in scripting languages.
- Proven Linux system administration experience, with CentOS and Ubuntu strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitLab.
- Database administration and performance tuning experience.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, SOAP/REST web services, and scalable storage such as HDFS or Ceph.
