Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from AWS infrastructure and application logs.
- Respond to security incidents impacting the Tripadvisor Experiences application.
- Triage vulnerabilities reported through the bug bounty program.
- Build and maintain security monitoring capabilities in the production environment.
- Automate security operations tasks using scripting languages.
- Configure and manage security tools like WAF and AWS GuardDuty.
- Operationalize findings from application security tools with engineering teams.
- Conduct threat modeling for new features to identify risks.
- Provide guidance on secure coding practices to engineering teams.
Requirements
- Deep experience securing a production environment in AWS.
- Comprehensive understanding of core AWS services beyond security tools.
- Strong proficiency with Terraform for managing cloud infrastructure.
- Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of security incidents.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language for automation.
- Solid understanding of common web application vulnerabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency.
- Proven ability to operate effectively with a global-first mindset.
