Responsibilities
- Operate production data infrastructure with a focus on high availability and performance.
- Implement automated patterns for upgrades and migrations to maintain uptime.
- Build and maintain Terraform modules for consistent infrastructure provisioning.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to support infrastructure needs for new features.
- Participate in on-call rotation and improve incident response processes.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Infrastructure, SRE, or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- Familiarity with managed databases, distributed queues, caching systems, and search datastores.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, with Python, Golang, or Java preferred.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging skills for complex distributed systems.
