Responsibilities

  • Own the generator-verifier architecture using generator agents, verifier agents, automated tests, evaluation suites, SAST/DAST, and policy checks.
  • Define agent orchestration patterns covering task decomposition, dispatch, sandboxing, reassembly, secure state, and credential handling.
  • Build and operate CI/CD for high volumes of autonomous pull requests, including triage, testing, routing, staged deployment, rollback, and human review.
  • Establish eval-driven development with measurable acceptance criteria and evaluation-suite-based validation.
  • Own the security boundary, including in-VPC AWS Bedrock inference, least-privilege permissions, credential protection, and NIST 800-53 Rev 5 guardrails.
  • Serve as the final human accountability gate before agent-generated code reaches production.
  • Define engineering standards for branching, review protocols, evaluation conventions, staged deployment, and graduated autonomy.
  • Maintain the reference implementation and govern progression from supervised to autonomous execution based on measured reliability.

Requirements

  • Experience architecting systems at scale with accountability for operational outcomes.
  • Deep expertise in CI/CD and developer platforms, including testing, staged deployment, rollback, observability, reliability, and performance.
  • Hands-on experience operating LLM agents in production, including orchestration, tool use, sandboxing, evaluation, and failure-mode management.
  • Security-architecture expertise in least-privilege design, secrets management, network-boundary enforcement, and threat modeling.
  • A track record of defining branching models, review protocols, or platform patterns adopted by other engineers.
  • Experience designing review tooling and conventions that preserve high signal and low latency while enforcing accountability.
  • Preferred experience designing and defending security boundaries in FedRAMP, FedRAMP High, defense, financial services, or healthcare environments with formal audits.
  • Preferred fluency in NIST 800-53 Rev 5 and the ability to map controls directly to engineering guardrails.
  • Preferred experience with AWS Bedrock or GovCloud in a compliance boundary.
  • Preferred experience with eval-driven development or generator-verifier architectures at a frontier-model or leading platform organization.
