Base Salary
$175k - $222k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the generator-verifier architecture in which agents generate changes and automated tests, evaluation suites, security checks, and policy checks validate them.
- Define agent orchestration patterns covering task decomposition, dispatch, sandboxing, reassembly, secure state, and credential handling.
- Build and operate CI/CD pipelines capable of triaging, testing, and routing high volumes of autonomous pull requests while preserving efficient human review.
- Establish eval-driven development with measurable acceptance criteria and evaluation-based validation.
- Own the security boundary for in-VPC AWS Bedrock inference, least-privilege permissions, sandboxed runtimes, and compliance guardrails.
- Enforce senior human review as the final accountability gate before agent-generated code reaches production.
- Define organization-wide engineering standards for branching, review, evaluation, staged deployment, and graduated autonomy.
- Maintain the reference implementation and set standards adopted by delivery teams.
Requirements
- Experience architecting systems at scale with accountability for outcomes.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, CI/CD, and developer platforms, including testing, staged deployment, rollback, observability, reliability, and performance.
- Hands-on experience operating LLM agents in production, including orchestration, tool use, sandboxing, evaluation, and high-volume failure modes.
- Security architecture experience covering least privilege, secrets management, network boundaries, and threat modeling.
- A track record of defining branching models, review protocols, or platform patterns adopted by other engineers.
- Preferred experience designing and defending security boundaries in FedRAMP, FedRAMP High, defense, financial services, or healthcare environments with formal audits.
- Fluency with NIST 800-53 Rev 5 and the ability to map controls directly to engineering guardrails.
- Experience with AWS Bedrock or GovCloud while maintaining inference and data within a compliance boundary.
- Experience with eval-driven development or generator-verifier architectures at a frontier-model or leading platform organization.
