Base Salary
$175k - $222k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the generator-verifier architecture using generator agents, verifier agents, automated tests, evaluation suites, SAST/DAST, and policy checks.
- Define agent orchestration patterns covering task decomposition, dispatch, sandboxing, reassembly, secure state, and credential handling.
- Build and operate CI/CD for high volumes of autonomous pull requests, including triage, testing, routing, staged deployment, rollback, and human review.
- Establish eval-driven development with measurable acceptance criteria and evaluation-suite-based validation.
- Own the security boundary, including in-VPC AWS Bedrock inference, least-privilege permissions, credential protection, and NIST 800-53 Rev 5 guardrails.
- Serve as the final human accountability gate before agent-generated code reaches production.
- Define engineering standards for branching, review protocols, evaluation conventions, staged deployment, and graduated autonomy.
- Maintain the reference implementation and govern progression from supervised to autonomous execution based on measured reliability.
Requirements
- Experience architecting systems at scale with accountability for operational outcomes.
- Deep expertise in CI/CD and developer platforms, including testing, staged deployment, rollback, observability, reliability, and performance.
- Hands-on experience operating LLM agents in production, including orchestration, tool use, sandboxing, evaluation, and failure-mode management.
- Security-architecture expertise in least-privilege design, secrets management, network-boundary enforcement, and threat modeling.
- A track record of defining branching models, review protocols, or platform patterns adopted by other engineers.
- Experience designing review tooling and conventions that preserve high signal and low latency while enforcing accountability.
- Preferred experience designing and defending security boundaries in FedRAMP, FedRAMP High, defense, financial services, or healthcare environments with formal audits.
- Preferred fluency in NIST 800-53 Rev 5 and the ability to map controls directly to engineering guardrails.
- Preferred experience with AWS Bedrock or GovCloud in a compliance boundary.
- Preferred experience with eval-driven development or generator-verifier architectures at a frontier-model or leading platform organization.
