Base Salary
$159k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business priorities
- Break down complex problems, provide technical guidance, and shape scope
- Evaluate tradeoffs and communicate decisions in writing
- Own delivery and move work quickly from development into production
- Seek feedback and help the team deliver outsized results
Requirements
- 3–7 years of backend development experience
- Knowledge of or enthusiasm to learn Haskell
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS
- Experience with databases, particularly PostgreSQL
- Strong documentation and testing practices
- End-to-end ownership, accountability, and collaborative problem solving
- Strong technical judgment and ability to articulate tradeoffs clearly
- Ability to balance speed with quality and anticipate potential challenges
