Responsibilities
- Execute software design, development, technical troubleshooting, and production coding across complex technical solutions.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI coding and automation tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, while validating outputs through review, testing, and secure coding practices.
- Create architecture and design artifacts and ensure software implementations meet design constraints.
- Develop and maintain React and Python applications, algorithms, and system integrations.
- Analyze large and diverse data sets, create visualizations and reports, and use insights to improve applications, coding hygiene, and system architecture.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice, emerging technology initiatives, and an inclusive team culture.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- At least 7 years of experience with React, including hooks, state management, and component architecture, and Python.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations, with the ability to guide peers.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern ReactJS patterns, and UI/UX design principles.
- Practical experience with system design, application development, testing, debugging, maintenance, and operational stability in a large corporate environment.
- Proficiency with React Testing Library, Jest, pytest, unittest, database querying languages, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Preferred experience includes Redux, Context API, Next.js, NumPy, Pandas, FastAPI, Django, Flask, cloud technologies, and AI/ML.
