Responsibilities
- Drive architecture, design, configuration, administration, migration, governance, and continuous improvement for SharePoint Online and Project Server/Project Online.
- Design secure site and information architectures, metadata models, document management solutions, permissions, search, workflows, project sites, templates, and reporting structures.
- Own Microsoft Power Platform governance, including environment strategies, DLP and connector policies, lifecycle management, deployment patterns, security, and support models.
- Design, develop, deploy, and support Power Apps, Power Automate solutions, and SharePoint Framework custom web parts and extensions.
- Administer Microsoft 365 collaboration services including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Power Platform, and Microsoft Whiteboard.
- Use PowerShell and other automation tools for provisioning, permissions management, auditing, reporting, migration, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
- Integrate SharePoint, Power Platform, Project platforms, Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft Graph, Azure services, APIs, and third-party tools.
- Coordinate with Cybersecurity, Compliance, Identity, Data Governance, and business teams on security, retention, DLP, auditing, FedRAMP-aligned controls, and AI governance.
- Provide senior technical guidance, troubleshoot complex incidents, perform root-cause analysis, create documentation and runbooks, mentor others, and coordinate technical work without direct supervision.
- Support Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, emerging AI productivity platforms, proof-of-concept development, adoption, and governance initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
- At least five years of progressively responsible experience in collaboration platform administration, architecture, development, or related Microsoft 365 technology roles.
- Senior-level experience with SharePoint Online architecture, administration, development, deployment, migration, governance, and support.
- Experience with Project Server or Project Online, SharePoint architecture and information management, modern SPFx development, formal SDLC practices, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Experience with Power Platform governance, including environment strategy, connector and DLP policies, security roles, lifecycle management, deployment, ownership, and support processes.
- Experience administering Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft 365/Office 365 environments with more than 1,000 users.
- Strong practical PowerShell experience for Microsoft 365 administration, automation, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 migration tools and large-scale cloud collaboration data migrations.
- Experience in secure, regulated, high-availability, or compliance-driven environments, preferably including FedRAMP-compliant SharePoint Online or Microsoft 365.
- Preferred qualifications include Entra ID identity governance, Microsoft Purview, DLP, retention and sensitivity labels, Microsoft Copilot, Proofpoint, Exchange Online, Azure DevOps, Git, Microsoft Graph, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Dataverse, Intune, DISA STIGs, accessibility, Section 508, .NET, Visual Studio, JavaScript, jQuery, web services, APIs, and related Microsoft certifications.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert, Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate, Power Platform Functional Consultant or Developer Associate, and Azure Administrator Associate.
