Base Salary
$200k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain security infrastructure, including internal tooling to automate device security testing
- Design, build, maintain, and scale device security backend systems and tools, including firmware supply-chain security systems
- Develop and improve automation for administering the device security program
- Mentor other engineers and deepen security expertise
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering
- At least 8 years of experience developing Go or Python microservices with AWS and participating in on-call
- Strong knowledge of scalable, fault-tolerant backend system design, including databases, queues, and blob storage
- Working knowledge of some of Temporal, Kubernetes, Docker, Redis, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, IAM, and Amazon S3
- Strong understanding and experience in systems architecture
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing IoT device fleets is preferred
- Security experience, a hacker mindset, or interest in learning more about security is preferred
