Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize embedded software for reliable, high-performance satellite systems.
- Support bare-metal and RTOS firmware development on embedded microcontrollers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design software for mission-critical space applications.
- Optimize software for adaptability, performance, and security.
- Test new and existing firmware and perform system bring-up, debugging, and validation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, including ECSS and MISRA.
Requirements
- A degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of embedded software development experience.
- Strong foundation in real-time operating systems.
- Proficiency in C++; Python is a plus.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle from requirements through testing closure and maintenance.
- Familiarity with computer architecture, microprocessors, microcontrollers, caches, buses, DMA, ADC, SPI, and PWM.
- Knowledge-sharing, proactive learning, communication, and self-directed working abilities are valued.
