Responsibilities
- Design and improve state-estimation algorithms that fuse IMU, GPS, camera, and other sensor data.
- Work with hardware systems to ensure algorithms perform reliably in operational conditions.
- Build testing frameworks to validate estimation performance using existing datasets and edge-case scenarios.
- Deploy algorithms on embedded or real-time systems and test complex software systems.
- Develop visual-based navigation systems for UAV positioning, velocity, and orientation estimation.
Requirements
- MS or PhD in Robotics, Control Systems, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience implementing state-estimation systems.
- Deep understanding of estimation techniques and strong C++ programming skills.
- Experience deploying algorithms on embedded or real-time systems.
- A track record of testing and validating complex software systems.
- Preferred: experience with UAV or robotic systems, visual-inertial systems, optimization, or probabilistic robotics.
