Base Salary
$142k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development of embedded software for sensor, communication, and cyber systems.
- Provide technical leadership to small teams of at least three engineers.
- Perform requirements generation, hardware selection, design, implementation, integration, testing, debugging, system analysis, and product release.
- Research and solve advanced waveform, low-SWaP processing, space communication payload, and persistent signal surveillance problems.
- Develop systems for SIGINT/EW and cyber applications supporting U.S. intelligence customers and allies.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in science, engineering, or a related field with 8 years of experience, or a master's degree with 6 years, or a PhD with 4 years.
- Experience leading small technical teams of at least three engineers.
- Experience with C, C++, embedded assembly languages, embedded development environments, debugging and system analysis tools, and scripting languages.
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle from requirements through product release.
- Familiarity with version control systems and software planning tools.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance before starting employment.
- Preferred experience includes embedded communications protocols, DSP, GNU Radio or other SDR platforms, MATLAB/Octave, and embedded RTOS platforms.
