Base Salary
$180k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own software solutions that address operational customer problems.
- Build and test production software features emphasizing simplicity, workflow supportability, reliability, durability, and user experience.
- Guide products from concept and prototype through production, scaling efficient development processes.
- Triage issues, identify root causes, and drive resolution to improve user outcomes.
- Partner with product teams and end users to translate customer needs into features while balancing user experience and engineering constraints.
- Collaborate with product, platform, mission engineering, system architecture, and other stakeholders across the product lifecycle.
- Deliver viable solutions on customer- and business-aligned timelines.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least five years of work experience.
- Experience building high-quality production software features.
- Strong proficiency with React, TypeScript, and Python.
- Knowledge of performance-focused techniques for rendering large datasets and building responsive interfaces.
- Ability to adopt new languages, libraries, and technologies.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, independent and collaborative work ability, and communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred qualifications include an active security clearance, an advanced degree, production or enterprise-scale application experience, visual design tool experience, software development best practices, and use of AI tools.
