Responsibilities

Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.
Identify and define system security requirements.
Partner with engineering teams on security and privacy initiatives.
Analyze security posture and identify potential vulnerabilities.
Design computer security architecture and develop cyber security designs.
Write comprehensive reports on security assessments and enhancements.
Maintain awareness of industry best practices for data handling.
Adhere to policies and procedures for protecting information assets.
Report actual or suspected security violations or breaches.

B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field.
Proven work experience as a System Security Engineer or Information Security Engineer.
Experience in building and maintaining security systems.
Hands-on experience with security systems like firewalls and intrusion detection.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with network security and monitoring tools.
Thorough understanding of security principles, techniques, and protocols.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects.
