Responsibilities
- Develop new end-to-end features, including backend APIs, frontend interfaces, and data visualizations.
- Build UI experiences for AI-related products such as AI Gateway management, agent monitoring, and MCP configuration.
- Contribute to Gravitee’s open-source platform and Enterprise Edition.
- Use LLMs and AI coding assistants for prototyping, code generation, testing, and debugging.
- Write automated tests and validate, correct, and improve AI-generated code.
- Collaborate with engineers and technical leaders through solution discovery, code review, and design review.
- Take ownership of architecture, code quality, and the wider impact of code changes.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience, including significant full-stack enterprise web application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 17+ and React, plus the ability to work across backend and frontend development.
- Strong experience designing, developing, and working with REST or RESTful APIs.
- Experience with MongoDB, JDBC, or other relational and database technologies, including data modeling.
- Understanding of backend architecture, API design, and modern software engineering principles.
- Strong code-review skills and ownership of code quality.
- Experience with automated testing, Git/GitHub workflows, and agile software development.
- Hands-on experience using LLMs and AI coding assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
- Ability to understand, validate, correct, and improve AI-generated code using sound engineering judgment.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to learn unfamiliar areas of complex technical platforms.
- Preferred experience includes Angular, Vert.x, API management, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, AI-powered products, LLM applications, RAG systems, agentic workflows, MCP, AI gateways, or relevant technical certifications.
