Responsibilities
- Design and build gateway, request scheduling, and orchestration services for latency-sensitive production workloads.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and improve incident response practices.
- Solve multi-tenant capacity challenges on shared GPU infrastructure, including isolation, admission control, and graceful degradation.
- Own and operate ClickHouse, Postgres, and Kafka data systems, including capacity, schemas, and failure modes.
- Write design documents, review architecture across teams, and help establish engineering standards.
- Scale software stacks and algorithms for demanding use cases.
- Maintain and improve the DevOps stack and internal development practices.
Requirements
- Production experience building and operating services in Go, Python, or C++.
- Experience profiling, load-testing, and tuning latency-sensitive systems.
- Ability to work independently, communicate clearly in writing, and take ownership of ambiguous problems.
- Pragmatic, hands-on approach with attention to customers and long-term technical direction.
- Interest in AI security.
- Preferred experience serving models on GPUs.
- Preferred experience operating at least one stateful data system in production.
- Preferred experience running services across multiple clouds.
- Open-source contributions are a plus.
