Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud and AI solutions across Azure, Oracle Cloud, and AWS.
- Develop automation, integration, REST API, identity-aware, and AI-driven components.
- Provide operational and project support for cloud and AI workloads.
- Improve platform stability, security, compliance, governance, and cost efficiency.
- Drive Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, reusable automation frameworks, and modern engineering practices.
- Implement responsible AI governance controls and guardrails for regulated environments.
- Produce architectural designs and engineering documentation for repeatable solution patterns.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams and work autonomously in a changing environment.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on Azure engineering experience, including Bicep, ARM, or Terraform Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Strong Python and PowerShell proficiency for automation, integration, and AI workflows.
- Experience implementing and supporting Azure, Oracle Cloud, and Entra ID identity solutions.
- Experience developing REST APIs, integrating services, and implementing OAuth2 and token-based identity flows.
- Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI SDKs and models, GPT models, embeddings, vector workflows, and prompt engineering.
- Strong knowledge of IAM, security patterns, governance, compliance, and responsible AI controls in regulated environments.
- Experience with Azure API Management or similar API gateways is preferred.
- Knowledge of Foundry, vectorisation patterns, or AI orchestration frameworks is preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, and Artifactory or similar tools.
- Azure certification AZ-104 or higher and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience are required.
- Strong communication, decision-making, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
