Base Salary
$121k - $173k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop APIs and microservices supporting BaaS onboarding and partner integration.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- Support code reviews, mentoring, CI/CD, testing, observability, and engineering best practices.
- Develop monitoring and alerting systems, meet SLA standards, and contribute to incident response and root cause analysis.
- Draft architectural documentation, evaluate emerging technologies, and refactor and extend the existing codebase.
- Build durable and flexible systems by favoring configurability over customization.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including at least 1 year in a technical leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience developing secure and standards-compliant code across multiple platforms.
- Fluency in several listed languages, platforms, or libraries, including C#, .NET, and SQL, with hands-on cloud-platform experience.
- Hands-on experience with Azure native services such as APIM, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Key Vault, as well as container technologies and caching frameworks.
- Understanding of RESTful API design, OAuth2, OpenAPI specifications, event-driven architectures, and microservice patterns.
- Experience implementing observability dashboards and platforms such as Datadog and Grafana.
- Deep knowledge of Git, DevOps, Agile Scrum, security best practices, PCI DSS, and SOC 2.
- Ability to work on mission- and revenue-critical customer-facing applications in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred: fintech or embedded-finance experience, partner onboarding and SLA management familiarity, and open-source or technical-publication contributions.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship and meet the approved location requirement.
