Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the existing software application across its data layer, application code, and user interface.
- Collaborate with the lead developer on application design and implementation.
- Develop Python applications using Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
- Design and deliver APIs and integrate with software systems and databases.
- Develop unit and integration tests.
- Build and deploy containers on AWS.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of Python experience developing applications with Flask, Django, or FastAPI, including associated unit and integration testing.
- 2–3 years of SQL experience and familiarity with SQLAlchemy or other ORM technologies.
- 6 months–3 years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS.
- 6 months–3 years of experience with React, Angular, or Vue.
- 1–3 years of experience developing on AWS, including building and deploying containers.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance are required.
