Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and ship end-to-end product workflows from database through API to user interface.
- Build rich, responsive interfaces for enterprise teams.
- Evolve and scale the design system.
- Improve platform performance and reliability as usage scales.
- Partner with product and design to turn ambiguous ideas into shipped solutions.
- Shape engineering standards, patterns, and technical direction.
Requirements
- Experience building production software across the stack, from database design and API contracts through frontend implementation.
- Strong frontend expertise in React and TypeScript, including complex user interfaces, thoughtful state management, and maintainable frontend systems.
- Experience designing and consuming APIs, with knowledge of data modeling, performance tradeoffs, and scalable service structure.
- Experience building backend services with Node.js or a similar technology and making architectural decisions as systems scale.
- Experience with significant product initiatives and cross-functional scope definition, tradeoffs, and delivery.
- Design system experience is a plus.
- Experience with real-time systems such as WebSockets, streaming, or voice is a plus.
- Familiarity with LLM-powered features or AI-driven applications is a plus.
- Experience scaling distributed systems or high-throughput applications is a plus.
