Base Salary
$160k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end product features spanning web UI and distributed backend services.
- Evaluate and integrate critical third-party software and infrastructure, including the payments stack.
- Lead projects from idea to production and own the full lifecycle from ideation through iteration.
- Implement an AI-based solution that improves product quality across engineering.
- Improve processes, automation, simplicity, and quality while helping shape engineering culture.
- Participate in early technology and implementation decisions and collaborate cross-functionally with product and design.
Requirements
- 4-10+ years of experience working with first-class engineering teams and a proven record of frequent, high-quality software delivery to production.
- Experience building business-critical services and complex, highly available, scalable distributed systems.
- Substantial experience with server-side programming, Postgres, DynamoDB, messaging, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Experience with modern web development using TypeScript.
- Experience owning solutions from ideation through delivery and iteration.
- Hands-on experience developing applications in the cloud, preferably AWS.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with product and design.
- Ability to work independently with little oversight in a fast-paced environment and deliver pragmatic results.
- AI-native mindset, including daily use of AI tools and enthusiasm for applying them further.
- Passion for building customer-focused products and contributing expertise to team culture.
