Base Salary
$200k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve technical and workflow blockers during complex enterprise deployments and high-stakes launches, including migrations from legacy systems.
- Partner with Sales and Deployment on late-stage deals by providing technical feasibility judgment and credibility with senior municipal stakeholders.
- Travel to complex or high-value municipalities to understand constraints and accelerate execution.
- Build targeted code or configuration when necessary while evaluating bespoke fixes for productization.
- Translate recurring enterprise requirements into scalable abstractions and escalate durable solutions to core teams for roadmap decisions.
- Use judgment to decide when to build, configure, or push back to protect the core platform from fragmentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a full-stack or forward deployed engineer in a production SaaS environment.
- Strong product judgment and a track record of deciding when to build, abstract, configure, or push back.
- Experience with customer-facing deployments, integrations, or migration-heavy environments.
- Effective communication skills and executive-facing credibility with municipal CIOs or department heads.
- Ability to operate under ambiguity and own high-impact, revenue-sensitive problems.
- Strong coding ability in TypeScript/Node or similar.
- Startup-oriented approach and ability to move quickly without over-engineering.
