Responsibilities
- Design and implement the future architecture of logging and metrics systems.
- Manage the lifecycle of over 1,500 servers across bare-metal and Kubernetes environments.
- Write code in Go or Python to automate operational tasks and build self-healing systems.
- Optimize performance of distributed tracing and logging pipelines.
- Participate in on-call rotations while focusing on engineering solutions to prevent alerts.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in the observability or relevant platform/infrastructure domain.
- Hands-on experience with core telemetry data stores like Elasticsearch and Prometheus.
- Strong understanding of Linux at a kernel level for debugging complex issues.
- Proven experience operating and troubleshooting production workloads on Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Go or Python with a focus on building tools and automation platforms.
