Base Salary
$119k - $193k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and debug real-time financial analytics software.
- Evaluate, tune, and improve model performance, stability, and accuracy.
- Analyze market data, derived market data, and reference data.
- Collaborate with reference data, real-time data, and historical data teams.
- Provide second-level support for production applications.
- Respond to customer questions about analytics and financial models.
- Write technical specifications, project plans, and documentation.
- Own projects from requirements and specifications through QA testing, documentation, and production release.
- Communicate with senior managers and technical colleagues.
- Support presales engagements with the sales team.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with Java or C# or equivalent, including parallel and multithreaded design patterns.
- At least 1 year of C++ experience is preferred.
- Experience with financial markets, derivatives pricing, and/or risk analysis.
- Equity derivatives experience is a plus.
- Ability to explain complex software systems end-to-end, including design rationale and business value.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from start to finish.
- Minimum bachelor's degree in a STEM field; master's degree preferred.
