Base Salary

$153k - $166k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Partner with product and engineering teams on security architecture, planning, design reviews, threat modeling, risk assessments, and secure development practices.
  • Own the security engagement lifecycle from design documentation through deployment, monitoring, vulnerability review, and remediation.
  • Secure AI features and AI development workflows, including developing AI security controls, guidance, and tooling.
  • Coach developers and junior engineers through code reviews, training, and secure SDLC enablement.
  • Deploy and operate security tooling across cloud environments and integrate automated security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Define security maturity KPIs, contribute to roadmap planning, manage assigned epics, and support incident response and operational initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of product security experience owning the full security engagement lifecycle.
  • Application security expertise spanning secure SDLC, CI/CD pipeline security, cloud environments, OWASP, and CIS.
  • Knowledge of AI and agentic AI security risks in software engineering and software products.
  • Knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27002, PCI, and PII-related audit and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency reviewing and improving application architecture, with hands-on experience in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python; AWS experience is preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with product owners and engineering teams, influence prioritization and roadmaps, communicate clearly, and work across multiple technical domains.
  • Ability to travel 3–5 times per year to College Board offices in New York or Reston, Virginia.
  • Authorization to work in the United States for any employer.
