Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects, data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to integrate Generative AI solutions into products.
- Deploy, scale, and optimize AI systems within Air Liquide’s infrastructure and data-access standards.
- Improve the reliability, latency, and cost efficiency of Generative AI systems.
- Implement observability for LLM calls through structured logging, tracing, dashboards, and alerts.
- Partner with the AI Platform team to translate product needs into platform feature requests.
- Provide training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing for other engineers.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborative sprint delivery.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in MLOps, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles focused on deploying, monitoring, and scaling systems is an asset.
- Demonstrated expertise in Python applied to data or AI projects.
- Experience with major cloud-provider AI services.
- Experience with LLM system and user prompts, tool and function calling, agent systems, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation.
- Experience with GCP AI services such as Vertex AI, Agent Space, and Gemini, as well as Prisme.ai, is desirable.
- Good written and spoken English and French.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts and mentor junior and intermediate engineers.
