Base Salary
$213k - $263k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the technical implementation of 3D visualization systems on onboard infotainment platforms.
- Lead the 3D rendering pipeline for the 3D Car View on an Android-based in-car system.
- Integrate visual assets for new vehicle platforms and optimize shader performance to reduce GPU utilization.
- Implement visual indicators for complex perception scenarios such as construction zones.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code and resolve complex rendering bugs.
- Optimize frame rate, CPU, GPU, and memory performance on resource-constrained onboard hardware.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and UX/UI designers to translate vehicle perception data into animations and motion designs.
Requirements
- Strong experience developing 3D graphics with C++ and APIs such as OpenGL ES or Vulkan.
- Experience with mobile or embedded platforms, custom rendering engines, mobile game development, VR/AR, or high-performance Android graphics.
- Strong foundation in 3D mathematics, including linear algebra, coordinate spaces, and transformations.
- Experience with shader programming using GLSL.
- At least 5 years of total software development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong ownership and ability to independently design, optimize, and implement complex software components.
