Base Salary
$120k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to technical decisions and participate in architectural discussions for frontend applications.
- Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance frontend applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Partner with UI/UX designers and other stakeholders to deliver seamless, intuitive user experiences.
- Design and implement real-time, bidirectional communication features to support live data streaming and updates.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Help define and promote engineering best practices for frontend architecture, testing, observability, and performance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other engineers on the team.
- Collaborate with backend and platform engineers to ensure efficient integration between frontend applications and underlying services.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience, including significant experience building complex frontend applications.
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field involving coding, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend application development.
- Experience building performant, interactive web or desktop applications.
- Experience with real-time communication patterns, including WebSockets or similar technologies.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating frontend applications with backend services.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to technical initiatives and influence implementation decisions.
- Ability to work with export controlled technology.
