Responsibilities
- Apply AI-assisted tooling, including LLM-based test generation, copilots, and agent frameworks, to test authoring, failure triage, and coverage analysis.
- Develop test strategies, detailed test plans, and structured test cases from product requirements and partner use cases.
- Validate full-stack behavior across China-specific deployment environments and local partner integrations.
- Lead robot hardware bring-up testing and execute factory software validation for functional verification, calibration, diagnostics, and manufacturing acceptance.
- Test GR00T-based robot action policies on China-available hardware, including policy rollout, sim-to-real transfer fidelity, and teleoperation data quality.
- Support robot-learning data collection and maintain dashboards and automation for test coverage, fleet health, and data-pipeline quality.
- Document, reproduce, regress, and analyze internal and external bugs, providing root-cause analysis and statistical quality reports.
- Collaborate with global Engineering and QA teams and Chinese robot OEM and partner engineering teams.
- Manage laboratory robot fleets, including hardware and software updates.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent degree in CS, CE, IT, ECE, or EEE.
- At least 3 years of hands-on software QA or test engineering experience across an embedded or robotics software stack.
- Strong Python and/or C/C++ programming skills, including the ability to write scripts and code from scratch.
- Solid Linux fundamentals, including shell scripting, system debugging, process tools, and network tools.
- Knowledge of robotics perception, navigation, manipulation, simulation, and robotics simulator engines.
- Experience developing automated test scenarios with a robotics simulator.
- Experience using Copilot, Cursor, or LLM-based agents for test generation or QA workflow automation.
- Strong written and verbal communication in Chinese and English, with the ability to work with Chinese robot OEM and partner engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience with functional safety standards, particularly ISO 26262, in autonomous systems.
- Preferred experience with Chinese robot platforms, robot OEM ecosystems, reinforcement learning, sim-to-real transfer, robot learning, GR00T-based policy inference pipelines, open-source robotics projects, or ROS community packages.
