Responsibilities
- Design and document security architecture patterns, reference designs, standards, and guardrails across cloud, application, data, identity, and network environments.
- Perform security architecture reviews and provide practical, risk-based guidance to engineering and business partners.
- Maintain enterprise security technologies and use their data to improve the organization’s security risk posture.
- Engineer automated responses to security risks and automate repetitive operational tasks using agentic AI.
- Design and secure AI and LLM-enabled solutions, including controls for access, data handling, logging, monitoring, human oversight, and model-related risks.
- Develop security technology roadmaps and partner with engineering, data, legal, privacy, and other stakeholders to reduce risk.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in security engineering, software development, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience managing diverse enterprise security technologies and securing complex, distributed technology environments.
- Strong proficiency in scripting and software development languages for API integration.
- Experience designing AI-driven automation or integrating AI and LLM capabilities into operational workflows.
- Experience with security architecture, threat modeling, reference architecture design, and architecture reviews across cloud and enterprise environments.
- Working knowledge of AI and LLM security risks and frameworks such as the OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating security tools.
- Ability to communicate risk and design tradeoffs clearly to technical teams and business leaders.
- Experience working in a highly matrixed organization and an industry-specific certification are preferred.
