Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate highly available backend services for the lending marketplace.
- Develop scalable systems that support rapid experimentation while ensuring reliability.
- Collaborate with Product, Machine Learning, and Analytics to create technical solutions for business problems.
- Build platform capabilities for new marketplace optimization and monetization strategies.
- Enhance the scalability and operational excellence of systems for real-time decisions.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and operational ownership of production systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend or distributed systems.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, Python, or Kotlin for production services.
- Proficient in designing APIs and building scalable distributed systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and cloud-native application development.
- Strong collaboration skills across engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
