Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product teams, business partners, and cybersecurity to define requirements for data-driven features and products.
- Design and document data-system components, architectures, tools, and storage solutions.
- Present technical solutions and capabilities to peers and address client requests requiring technical knowledge.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor peers.
- Apply knowledge of data security, privacy, retention, market trends, and industry developments to drive innovation.
- Work with highly distributed, scalable, concurrent, and low-latency systems.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree, or more than 2 years of work experience with an advanced degree such as a master’s, MBA, JD, or MD.
- Experience presenting technical solutions, participating in code reviews, mentoring peers, and addressing technically complex client requests.
- Expertise with distributed systems and one or more of DB2, MS SQL, MySQL, or NoSQL.
- Experience with Jenkins or Artifactory is desirable.
- Experience with PowerBI or Tableau is a plus.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous.
- Understanding of MSBI technologies including SSIS, SSAS, and SQL Servers is preferred.
- Knowledge of generative AI technologies and cloud solutions including Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
