Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts from functional and non-functional requirements.
- Execute manual tests validating platform functionality, performance, and security.
- Review and improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and compliance specialists on eKYC requirements and technical specifications.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Create or approve test execution reports for production deployments.
- Perform API testing and use SQL queries for data validation.
- Support SDLC activities in an Agile/Scrum environment, including stand-ups and retrospectives.
- Ensure testing aligns with AML, GDPR, and applicable local regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, processes, and test case design and execution.
- Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, ALM, or qTest.
- Understanding of software development lifecycles and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with database concepts and ability to write basic SQL queries.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or Bruno.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Experience testing KYC, AML, or other compliance-related systems is highly preferred.
- ISTQB or other QA certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with GCP, Azure, or AWS is preferred.
- Experience testing AI/ML-enabled functionality or using AI-assisted testing tools is preferred.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
