Responsibilities
- Design and own a scalable quality strategy for accelerated software delivery.
- Monitor quality health through meaningful metrics and govern compliant release-management processes.
- Identify and address structural quality issues through process improvements, tooling, and coaching.
- Evaluate AI support for quality work, including generated test cases and autonomous test agents.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures.
- Facilitate automated UI testing and guide unit, integration, and system testing.
- Communicate quality status, risks, and strategy while aligning and coaching cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software quality engineering or a related field.
- Experience shaping quality processes rather than merely following them.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, root-cause analysis, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining complex concepts to varied audiences.
- Curiosity about AI’s role in software engineering and willingness to evaluate emerging tools critically.
- Assertiveness, flexibility, pragmatism, and the ability to build alignment.
- Basic programming knowledge sufficient to collaborate with engineers and evaluate technical quality decisions.
