Responsibilities
- Analyze functional and technical requirements and derive test scenarios and test cases.
- Plan, create, execute, and document software tests, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Test new functionalities, enhancements, bug fixes, and legal or functional changes in the KIDICAP application.
- Perform quality assurance for frontend, backend, and interface functionalities.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects in collaboration with developers.
- Support the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of automated tests and test documentation.
- Analyze test results and support release and acceptance testing.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA and testing processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Experience creating and executing manual tests and ideally automated tests.
- Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with test and defect management.
- Knowledge of Tosca or comparable test automation tools is advantageous.
- Experience with Jira or comparable tools.
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs and interface testing.
- SQL or database knowledge is advantageous.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Analytical, structured, collaborative, and communicative working style.
