Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test suites and frameworks in a distributed global delivery environment.
- Guide manual QA engineers through the transition to QA automation by identifying training needs, setting goals, and facilitating knowledge sharing.
- Design sustainable testing solutions and provide technical guidance on testing strategy, framework design, and implementation.
- Define and implement testing best practices, standards, and solutions while promoting new technologies and methodologies.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, development teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders on technical roadmaps.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and perform data validation using complex SQL queries.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance and test automation.
- Strong Java programming skills for developing scalable test automation frameworks and scripts.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, REST Assured, JUnit or TestNG, Cucumber/Gherkin, and cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of testing techniques and types including Black Box, White Box, System, Integration, Regression, Performance, and Security testing.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Good understanding of PostgreSQL and Oracle relational databases and ability to write complex SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Business-fluent spoken and written English, with strong analytical, communication, independence, and initiative skills.
- Ability to use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity and solve business problems.
- Preferred: financial services or Wealth Management experience, coordination across multiple Scrum teams or projects, and Agile/Scrum experience.
