Responsibilities
- Partner with account executives and cross-functional teams to drive technical wins across the sales cycle.
- Present Snowflake’s vision and platform to technical and executive audiences.
- Demonstrate the value of Snowflake through discovery, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Guide customers on modern data architecture and implementation considerations.
- Translate customer business challenges into practical solution patterns.
- Develop trusted relationships with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Maintain an understanding of competitive technologies and position Snowflake effectively.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve products and messaging.
- Help customers stay current on Snowflake product innovations and emerging use cases.
- Represent Snowflake at customer meetings and industry events.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in customer-facing solutions engineering or technical pre-sales roles.
- Strong competency across modern data stacks, including ETL/ELT and cloud-native data platforms.
- Experience working with enterprise customers in complex technical environments.
- Strong hands-on technical capability, including SQL and Python.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills for engaging technical and executive audiences.
- Confidence in facilitating technical workshops and solution discussions.
- A pragmatic, collaborative approach to driving customer success.
- Strong relationship-building capability and ability to simplify technical concepts.
