Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain valuation methodologies, models, and processes for financial instruments and trading portfolios.
- Build and manage robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Develop digital solutions using Java development kits, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservice architecture.
- Analyze market data, assess valuation risks, and prepare or review valuation reports, regulatory filings, and financial statements.
- Provide technical and valuation insights to traders, risk professionals, senior colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Manage risk, strengthen controls, implement policy changes, and support continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with JDK 17 or later.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot 3.x.
- Hands-on experience with microservice architecture and REST APIs.
- Working experience with Safe Agile methodologies.
- JDK 21 or later, JBoss 8, banking or payments domain experience, and AI coding tools such as Claude Code are highly valued.
- Ability to apply technical expertise, make evaluative judgments, resolve problems, communicate complex information, and collaborate across functions.
