Responsibilities
- Build and maintain nexo.com, a global marketing platform reaching millions of potential clients.
- Translate designs into responsive, accessible interfaces for modern devices and browsers.
- Develop and maintain the component library and design system using Storybook.
- Ship conversion-focused features and measure their impact on business growth.
- Optimize performance, Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, and infrastructure costs.
- Implement web performance techniques such as code splitting, lazy loading, image optimization, and caching.
- Support A/B testing, feature flags, analytics instrumentation, and technical SEO implementation.
- Balance code quality, simplicity, and delivery timelines while taking ownership of shipped work.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience with Node.js.
- Expert proficiency with Next.js, React, and TypeScript, including hands-on experience with recent Next.js versions within the past year.
- Strong experience with MongoDB or AWS DocumentDB.
- Solid command of modern CSS and responsive design.
- Deep knowledge of web performance, including code splitting, lazy loading, image optimization, and caching.
- Understanding of technical SEO, including structured data, meta tags, sitemaps, and rendering strategies.
- Experience with A/B testing, feature flags, analytics instrumentation, Git, and modern deployment practices.
- Ability to create Minimal Reproducible Examples and use AI efficiently without compromising quality.
- Open-source participation, leadership ability, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to balance quality with deadlines.
- Preferred experience includes AWS resource management and deployment, Cloudflare and networking, internationalization and localization, Google Analytics 4, infrastructure as code with Terraform, fintech or crypto products, UX and animation, and PHP.
