Responsibilities
- Conduct product, user, and quantitative research to prioritize and design app features.
- Design features using wireframes and Figma prototypes.
- Propose performant and scalable frontend and backend implementations.
- Build product features using Django, Postgres, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and other technologies.
- Implement QA, performance, unit, and integration tests.
- Plan the steps, timeline, and communications for releasing new features.
- Conduct A/B tests and quantitative analyses to measure feature impact and identify improvements.
- Support existing features through bug fixes, enhancements, and user outreach.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of full-time software engineering experience.
- Proven experience implementing high-impact product features in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Highly skilled in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python.
- High user empathy and a strong product mindset.
- Coursework or experience in statistics.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Grit, hustle, a willingness to roll up your sleeves, and intellectual curiosity.
